Ozblogistan was moved to new servers on Monday night by some subcontractors. The ensuing few days have been a mess because the move was only incompletely successful. In particular, bloggers have been unable to log into the wordpress backend to write posts or moderate comments.
This morning a threw a switch and it appears as though we are slowly coming back online. I’m very sorry for the disruption.
I haven’t been able to get onto Catallaxy for three or four days now. I keep getting a page that says website movers maintenance. Is it my end or yours that’s playing up?
A bit of both, sfw.
A lot of the trouble is that the DNS records are propagating unusually slowly and unevenly.
I mean for example, I can see this page but not the ozblogistan.com.au homepage.
This page comes up wrong because it can’t load the CSS; the slider feature on Club Troppo was broken. And so on.
